On 18 December 2025, the board of Shaanxi China Express Logistics formally approved a division-level restructuring. Built around four pillars — physical fulfilment, talent standards, industrial resources and digital commerce — the legacy business lines have been consolidated into four business divisions: ZK Cloud Warehouse, ZK Logistics Alliance, ZK Cloud Academy and ZK Cloud Commerce. Each division operates independently while remaining centrally coordinated.
Why restructure?
Over the past 18 years China Express Logistics has been built on hands-on trunk haulage and warehouse outsourcing. As revenue scaled past the one-billion-yuan mark, the original function-based structure (Transport, Warehousing, Administration, Sales) became a bottleneck. Customers increasingly demanded end-to-end, one-stop solutions, yet internal workflows still had to traverse three or four departments. New business lines — live-stream e-commerce, cross-border stocking, supply-chain finance — had nowhere to incubate.
The restructuring turns every division into a small company with its own P&L, CEO and KPIs, reporting only profit-and-loss and strategic synergy to headquarters. Divisions collaborate as internal partners; shared resources (fleet capacity, warehouse space, IT, customers) are settled through internal transfer pricing, eliminating the old "one-big-pot" mentality.
Mandate of each division
- ZK Cloud Warehouse — the physical fulfilment backbone. Partner warehouses across Xi'an totalling 134,000 m² (strategic partners, not self-built) with intelligent WMS support four scenarios: B2B industrial storage, B2C e-commerce cloud warehousing, compliant hazardous-chemical storage and cross-border stocking.
- ZK Logistics Alliance — the industry ecosystem backbone. An open resource platform aggregating 30+ small and mid-sized carriers across north-west China, providing a single window, unified service quality and unified pricing.
- ZK Cloud Academy — the talent-standard backbone. An in-house SOP training system delivering closed-loop onboarding for new hires plus school-enterprise apprenticeships, supplying more than 500 frontline professionals to the industry every year.
- ZK Cloud Commerce — the digital-commerce backbone. Focused on "Shaanxi goods going west / Shaanxi goods going east", integrated with Pinduoduo, JD, Douyin and Central Asian cross-border channels, delivering Shaanxi specialty produce nationwide within 24 hours and to Central Asia within 72 hours.
What it means for customers
After the restructuring, customers can address each class of problem through a single division: integrated warehousing-and-distribution from Cloud Warehouse, fragmented-capacity consolidation from the Logistics Alliance, team training from Cloud Academy, and agricultural-products e-commerce from Cloud Commerce. Each division assigns dedicated project managers and KPI dashboards, accelerating execution and improving transparency.
