I count the tree rings, I count the clouds,
And find that the places of my childhood are full of fleeting moments and constellations.
I chase the kites, I chase the mountain peaks,
And find that the places I have not yet run through are full of beautiful dreams and reunions.
I want to count the years until I have grown up; I want to chase autumn, winter, spring and summer.
I want to become a book and let others read my changes.
Let us form a library,
Each cover called Youth,
On the wheels of time we count our longings,

Chasing adventure to the far horizon.
When we meet, it is like a library,
Reading each other's purest paradise,
On the wheels of the four seasons we count our changes,
Chasing the shore, watching the river of stars flow.
Welcome to the Library on Wheels,
Where no book on the shelf is called Loneliness.
On 15 March 2017, on a drizzling, grey day, we arrived at Dujia Primary School in Xifan Village, Daoxian Town, Fuping County, Weinan City.
It is also the site of this Saturday's (18 March) Library on Wheels event.
Dujia Primary School has four grades and 45 pupils in total. Of those, nearly 40 are left-behind children.
Behind those brilliant smiles, their family situations are far from perfect. Some have divorced parents; some have parents with disabilities… And what stays with us goes far beyond that.

A playground with only two basketball hoops; a room with broken glass that serves as the children's activity room; classrooms that are not warm enough in winter; a roof that leaks whenever it rains.
Although the school's conditions are tough, the children do not complain. Under the guidance of teachers whose average age is 45 and across twelve subjects, the school ranks first in Daoxian Town in nine of them — while art, music and other interest-development subjects remain blank slates.
Next, we went to the Dujia Primary School library. Pushing open the door, a warm atmosphere greeted us.
A community organisation donated this reading room to the school two years ago.
The material world may be poor, but the inner world must not be.
Books are a key that opens the door to a new world for children. We noticed that the books at Dujia Primary School had not been updated in a long time.
This Saturday, Library on Wheels sets off again. Together with the volunteer teaching teams of ten well-known graduate programmes in Shaanxi, we will travel to Dujia Primary School and ten other rural primary schools across the province to set up mobile "Caring Reading Rooms" and bring spiritual nourishment to the children.
Library on Wheels
"One book, one heart, one dream" — the Shaanxi Radio and Television Library on Wheels public-welfare initiative leads volunteers into the countryside to feel the joy of spring and sow the seeds of knowledge for the children.
We look forward to more caring people joining us. This spring, let us bring our families, our books and our love to Dujia Primary School in Fuping.

This season's Library on Wheels is also supported by partners from all walks of life. Future Publishing House, a long-standing supporter of the programme, has committed to donating 300-350 books to each school.
The books donated this time include Dreamland Garden, The Marvellous Forest, Tales of Primary School, Warriors of the Cats Inspirational Library 1-3, Growth and Transformation, Magical Deskmate Tony Rabbit, Thirteen Thousand Guesses, A Husky Passing Through the Heart, and Beware of the Raccoon — all in fresh shrink-wrap, ensuring the best reading experience for the children.
Volunteer Reading Team of the West China Children's Reading Alliance has donated 100 books.
This Saturday the Shaanxi Charity Association will dispatch five vehicles and 23 volunteers to the event. Social forces of every kind continue to pay attention.
A wise youth means a wise nation; a wealthy youth means a wealthy nation; a strong youth means a strong nation. We hope caring people from all walks of life will join in.
